Below is the current procedure for all Reset Requests effective immediately.
This procedure must be followed until further notice.
- Reset Request Received
- mRemote to restaurant server
- open a cmd prompt and run netstat -a
- copy results from step 3 to the ticket
- Restart 'Visionmax Daemon Service'
- run netstat -a
- copy results from step 6 to the ticket
- send an email to the Call Centre Team Leads requesting that a test order be sent to the location
- if the test order is successfully received, copy the Daeman.log found at C:\Program Files (x86)\VisionMax Solutions Inc\CaraDaemon\logs to the ticket and assign to TS.
If the test did not print: - once test order has been sent, run netstat -a
- copy results from step 9 to the ticket
- Restart 'World Wide Publishing Service'
- run netstat -a
- copy results from step 12 to the ticket
- send an email to the Call Centre Team Leads requesting that a 2nd test order be sent to the location
- once test order has been sent, run netstat -a
- copy results from step 15 to the ticket
- if the test order is successfully received, copy the Daeman.log found at C:\Program Files (x86)\VisionMax Solutions Inc\CaraDaemon\logs to the ticket and assign to TS.
IN EITHER SITUATION, PLEASE BE SURE THAT THE LOCATION IS OPERATIONAL BEFORE ASSIGNING TO TS.
