Insert Condiment

There are times when you need to insert specific instructions for the kitchen staff. This is especially important for restaurant with KDS (Kitchen Display Systems).

Please note that at times we set up menu items/ sides that do not display on the KDS screen but rather get displayed on a counter at the top of the screen. Check with you Kitchen Manager/ Chef.                                  The Assembler and Expo will however see your message. 

Let’s say that you want to order a well done burger with no salt fries

First Scenario

1. Ring in your burger and side

2. Highlight the second burger

3. Select “Insert Condiment”

Please ensure you see “Insert” on the top left corner of the POS screen

4. Select “FOOD MOD”

You can utilize the pre-set mods               

                        or 

You can type a “Guest Request”                

                         or

 At times your brand may have pre-set up charges 

You will notice that the “Well Done” attached itself to the burger

5. Un-highlight the burger

6. Highlight the “w/fries”

7. Type “no salt” using the key board and select “Enter”

     

You will notice that the “NO SALT” attached itself to the w/fries

Second Scenario

1. Ring in your burger

2. Select “FOOD MOD”

You can utilize the pre-set mods                

                         or

 You can type a “Guest Request”                

You will notice that the “Well Done” attached itself to the burger

3. Select your side choice “w/fries”

4. Select “FOOD MOD”

5. Type “no salt” using the key board and select “Enter”

   

You will notice that the “NO SALT” attached itself to the w/fries
